Carey Jungle Explorers - By Carey Baptist Church

A group for 18mths-4 year olds and their parents and carers. Join us for craft, singing, a snack and a short story from the Bible. Lots of toys are available to play with. All are welcome and parents with many different languages attend. A waiting list runs, but please come and visit or email us to find out more. Free parking available. Jungle Explorers is the name given to our parent/carers and children’s group for those aged 18 months to preschool/school age.

We provide a friendly, safe environment with a wide range of toys, equipment and activities.

In each session we start with activities in different zones which children will be free to move between. There is also a chillout area/zone for those who need quieter activities.

After a while of playing, everyone moves to a smaller hall for drinks and snacks. After 10-15 minutes, we have a song time with our in-house musician Nigel and children are free to use instruments or other sensory aids which are provided. We finish at 11:30am with our fabulous Goodbye Song!
